Born on Vulcan, Her parents died shortly after her
fifth birthday in an accident. She spent several years
in an orphanange on Vulcan before running away. She
stowed away on a human freighter, and midway during
the return flight to Earth, the captain of the
freighter found her. He decided to raise her, and
taught her how to pilot the ship.
On her seventeenth birthday, she decided that she
wanted more, and decided to attend Starfleet Academy.
