Background:
|
MeZah grew up on Vulcan, the daughter of T'Oren. MeZah excelled in most things
as a child, and by the age of 13 was enrolled in StarFleet. At the age of 17 she
graduated and was assigned her first starship under the command of Jorren
Tanklin. At the age of 12 MeZah had decided that logic itself was illogical, and
that to correct that and live her life the way it was meant to be lived she
would have to give up logic. She did so, and by the age of 13 decided that
emotions where a necessary part of her life. She embraced her emotions,
sometimes not keeping control enough of them. At the age of 15 the emotions she
was having toward her Human boyfriend (Jonas Mathews) grew so strong that she
almost killed him and herself in a fit of misunderstanding. This incident lead
to her shunning emotions for the next year of her life. By the time she was 18,
she had worked out a system that gave room for emotion and illogic. This
behavior disappointed her parents, although her human friends liked her more and
more the more she embraced her emotions, within a reasonable limit. When she
was 19 she had an assignment on the USS Valcory which she enjoyed until half of
the crew died in a fight with the dominion, forcing her to not only revisit the
places that reminded her of her dead friends everyday, but be the second best
engineer on the ship. To MeZah, there is no second place. She requested a
transfer and was granted a transfer to the USS Eclipse (NCC-58356). After The
Eclipse was decommissioned because of the killing of her captain and lack of
crew MeZah was assigned to Armstrong Station on Earth. A year and a half later
The USS Eclipse was recommissioned. Strangely the Eclipse was given a new NCC
number, instead of adding a letter to the old one. When MeZah found out that
her old ship had been recommissioned she knew she wanted to be on it. She would
have transferred earlier, but she had some things to take care of some things on
Earth. Her transfer was approved and she was given the position of Warp Core
Specialist because Chief Engineer had already been taken.

Personality Profile:
|
She knows right from wrong, but sometimes lets her emotions get in the way. She
is friendly, but it would be a good idea to stay on her good side. She does not
tolerate much crap from anyone, but can be patient. She makes decisions based on
her morals and her feelings at the time, which can really screw up situations.
Doing things without thinking can be her downfall, but she doesn't do that
often. She will disobey a direct order if she feels the outcome will be better.
On one occasion, she saved the USS Valcory by using a marquis trick she learned
from a friend, even though it was against Starfleet safety protocols. She would
have been given a medal for heroics, but she would have also been dishonorably
discharged from the fleet, so the two balanced out.
